200 jobs lost after the closure of Brinks cash-in-transit security firm in Ireland

brinks
Bad news on the jobs front tonight, as Brinks cash-in-transit will cease operating in Ireland with immediate effect, with the loss of 200 jobs at its premises in Dublin, Cork, and Galway.

The news will come as a shock to all workers, as only a week ago an agreement was reached to secure all the jobs.

SIPTU will be meeting with company representatives tomorrow to discuss redundancy terms for the workers.
