Storm Callum may be leaving Irish shores, but its effects will be felt for some time yet.
Up to 30,000 homes and businesses have been left in the dark, as ESB crews work to restore power for those affected.
Galway and Cork were particularly badly hit, with mudslides causing road difficulties around Co. Cork.
The storm is now heading towards the UK, where residents are bracing themselves for impact.
