100,000 people. 100,000 voices, delivering a clear, direct message to the Government: ‘Enda Kenny, not a penny’.

The people’s roar for justice and fairness has soared across the Dublin skies once again, drifting right into the chambers of power, drilling down a message of defiance against a Government which have dug a watery grave for themselves.

The capital ground to a halt yesterday as crowds from the cardinal points of Ireland converged on the city streets.

The large congregation, quite a feat for a cold and blustery midweek afternoon, marched peacefully.

They gathered outside Government Buildings on Merrion Square to make their voices heard, to let the Government know that enough is enough, and that their will to fight for the scrapping of both the charges and Irish Water shall not falter.
