A young boy has died after he fell from cliffs near Ballycastle on the Co Antrim coast.
7 year old Logan Crawford, who was from the seaside town, was last seen playing with friends near the cliffs at Castle Point.
He was discovered on rocks at the bottom of the cliffs and airlifted to hospital but he later died due to injuries he received.
A spokesman of the Police Service of Northern Ireland has said the incident was reported shortly before 7.15pm yesterday (Monday).
The search for Logan involved the RNLI, the Northern Ireland Coast Guard and a Royal Navy helicopter.
The PSNI spokesperson was quoted saying : “Inquiries are continuing.”
