You can have all the opinions in the world as to what you think of the Royal family but you have to hand it to Prince Philip, the man is a legend.
The 97-yr-old Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a very heavy hitting car crash yesterday which saw his Land Rover flip multiple times on the A149.
He is said to have been helped out of the vehicle by a passer by who said that the Prince went immediately over to the other car to see how the people were.
Thankfully, a few minor broken bones was the extent of the crash with no one seriously injured.
It’s understood that the Prince is said to have told police that he was “dazzled by the sun” when trying to pull out and that may well be the reason as to why the crash occurred.
Prince Philip got a new Land Rover today replacing the one that was totalled yesterday so no doubt the old gent will be out on the roads soon again.
