Shane Macgowan was interviewed on last night’s RTE Ray D’Arcy Show with his girlfriend Victoria Mary Clarke.
The pair were there to talk about Shane’s 60th birthday party which happened on last Monday night on the Concert Hall.
Shane seemed to be in good spirits talking about the party, which saw Johnny Depp among the attendees, and also about his childhood down in Co. Tipperary.
Shane’s girlfriend Victoria Mary Clarke was also in jovial form recounting what she described a great night to celebrate the legendary singer’s birthday.
She spoke about a funny story where Shane’s ex poured a pint over her head and then looked into the camera and said “Hi Julie”. Victoria said she initially didn’t like Shane’s music but got to love it.
