There are four children in hospital today following a vicious attack at their home in Blainroe, Co Wicklow last night.
The children, two boys and two girls aged between three and 11 were seriously injured in the incident, with two of the children needing to be airlifted to hospital.
A man in his mid 30s has been arrested and is being questioned by gardaí at Wicklow Garda Station.
No further comment from gardai as of it.
