President Donald Trump met with President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland yesterday as the world media watched on.
Left wing elements in the United States have latched on to President Trump saying that he believes President Putin when he declared that Russia did not interfere in the 2016 Presidential Election in America, notably where they allegedly intercepted Hillary Clinton’s emails after she used an unsecure server.
Along with left wing media, Senator John McCain condemned President Trump, who accepted what Vladimir Putin said even though the American intelligence say differently.
Those supporting President Trump included Rand Paul, who spoke on CNN last evening, citing how so many past American Presidents have failed to make in-roads with Russia but that President Trump has already created a working-relationship with President Putin and that he was right to say he believed him for the sake of democracy and for the fact that the world is safer when the USA and Russia are on good terms.
