Munir Mohammed had plotted to build a pressure cooker bomb similar to those used in the Boston Marathon attack.

He was arrested with bomb making components, a mobile phone detonator and ricin.

Mohammed conspired with a pharmacist Rowaida El-Hassan, who gave the would be terrorist advice on how to poison food with Ricin, a highly toxic substance, at a ready meal factory he worked in.

The two were inspired by the Islamic State’s call on Muslims in the West to launch lone wolf attacks by any means necessary against civilians.

Mohammed entered the EU via Greece as a refugee and arrived in Britain from France after paying to be smuggled in the back of a lorry.

They will be sentenced on February 22nd.
