Met Eireann is forecasting a week or so of glorious, summer-like weather, with temperatures ‘above normal’.
A mass of warm air is currently moving towards British shores, so it’s likely to reach Ireland too, bringing the thermometer up to about 20C or just beyond from Sunday onwards.
The weather will remain rather unsettled in the run up to the weekend though, with mild but wet conditions predominant.
