It is going to be mixed weekend as the country is expected to experience three seasons of unpredictable weather over three days.
According to Met Eireann today (Friday) will be rather mild with sunny spells expected throughout the day with temperatures expected to reach a pleasant 16C.
However tomorrow will be a lot more cooler with temperatures expected to only reach the the lows teens at best, the national forecaster has said it will be cloudy throughout with some light showers expected in the evening.
The weather will have a much more bitter feel from Saturday night onwards as ground frost expected in with most places experiencing temperatures between 1-3C.
Meanwhile Sunday will be particularly cold with rain expected throughout the day with some showers turning wintery on higher ground as temperatures will range between 7-11C.
