News is slowly emerging as to the tragic circumstances of the discovery of the bodies of a father and a child this afternoon in North Dublin.
It’s believed the father was carrying his 3-yr-old child around 3pm this afternoon over a wall, tripped and fell into the canal Ashtown.
The absolutely tragic encounter occurred near the Royal canal in the Ashington area of north Dublin.
Gardai have no released more details other than the child was 3 years of age and that the incident was a tragic accident.
