Aer Lingus has issued a warning today about a fake ticket scam currently doing the rounds.
A number of people have reported receiving a message through WhatsApp, purportedly from Aer Lingus, offering a free ticket.
The message requests for the person to click on a link, which may lead to the compromise of personal data.
Aer Lingus has confirmed that the airline is not sending such messages.
