Aldi Ireland have confirmed that will not be selling their special buy childrens paddling pool due to the current hosepipe ban.
In a statement posted on their twitter page the supermarket chain said the 10ft Paddling Pool due to go on sale on this Thursday, July 19, will not be sold at any of its stores across Ireland.
In the post the supermarket chain said: “In light of the National Water Conservation Order introduced by Irish Water, we will not be placing our 10ft Paddling Pool Specialbuy on sale on Thursday 19th July as advertised.”
It is understood Aldi decided against selling the paddling pools as a hosepipe ban is currently implemented until July 31st.
