Aldi recall meat product as it may contain traces of blue plastic




Leading supermarket chain Aldi has confirmed that they have recalled one of their meat products after traces of blue plastic were discovered in some items.

In a statement on its website Aldi say they are recalling Mae’s Kitchen Meat Free Mince as a precautionary measure after traces of blue plastic was found in the product.

The batches affected are 095; 109; 122; 150 and 152 with best before dates of April 2018, May 2018 and June 2018.

Aldi say they will offer a full refund to those affected.
