A Co Louth sports club has issued a warning to parents of children who are members at the club, after two peadophiles were sighted in the area.
The club, Ardee & District Athletic Club issued the warning after the two men were spotted in the Stabannon area on Wednesday.
In an announcement on their Facebook page, the club posted a status urging parents to make sure their child is dropped off at the club safely and not to let their child travel alone.
They also said that no child would be allowed to leave the club until their parents officially signed them out following their activities.
The club say they have implemented the measures in the interest of the children’s safety.
