Although Ireland had a few chances of their own Cyrus Christie had the best late in the first half as he made a strong run down the right but seen his shot saved by Kasper Schmeichel.
The second half seen fairly few chances but Ireland had Randolph to thank as he made two brilliant saves right at death.
