In one of the most divisive race rows since the L.A riots back in 1991, America is facing a week of uncertainty.

On August 9th 2014 in Ferguson St Louis, Michael Brown, a 6ft 4″ twenty stone black 18-yr-old, stole alcohol from an off licence.

The robbery was caught on CCTV and the police informed. Shortly afterwards, Police Officer Darren Wilson came upon Brown.

What happened next was allegedly Brown running towards Wilson trying to get the cops gun from his holster.

Instead, the officer shot the 18-yr-old dead, and weeks of violence, looting and riots with the police ensued.

During the night, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Bob McCulloch announced the decision not to indict Darren Wilson of any charges.

A grand jury of nine whites and three blacks had been meeting weekly since Aug. 20 to consider evidence in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown.

Brown’s family immediately issued a statement following McCulloch’s announcement:
“We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions”.

Riots and looting have already started, and race relations are said to be at breaking point all across the State as a result. Riot police have been deployed as trouble is expected over the coming days.
