An extra 3,400 customers have been found to be affected by the tracker mortgage scandal, according to figures released by the Central Bank.
This makes the total number of customers involved to 37,100.
Banks have so far paid out €459m in compensation to customers who should have been given the option to choose a tracker mortgage.
