And the drama goes on – Conor McGregor lashes out at UFC on social media

The UFC have confirmed they are not willing to give McGregor his match at UFC 200 over his recent antics of being a no-show to promote the fight.

McGregor took to social media to give his thoughts on the UFC verdict:

Accompanied by a series of video clips that show some of the best exchanges from his first encounter with Nate Diaz at UFC 196, McGregor wrote: “Nobody gives a f*** about these other fights until this one is settled. Cut the bulls***. Run it back. #RealFight”.

When McGregor says “other fights'” it would appear he is referencing Dana White’s comments last week, when White said McGregor is likely to fight the winner of Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar, who fight at UFC 200.

White also last week mentioned that McGregor’s recent behaviour may have cost him a place on the UFC’s first ever card in New York in November this year at UFC 205 – not just UFC 200.

Former champion Jose Aldo, who McGregor beat a few months ago, and Frankie Edgar will meet in an interim featherweight title fight with the winner expected to go on and face McGregor later this year.
