Jenny Murat, a British woman says that a mystery woman wearing purple is now the prime suspect in the search for missing Madeleine McCann.
Ms Murat has told how she saw a woman in purple outside the apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, which Madeleine disappeared from 10 years ago this month.
Jenny said: “I saw the woman standing on the corner of the street.”
“The woman was looking up at the apartments, watching intently, she caught my eye as she was dressed in purple-plum clothes.”
“It struck me as strange. It’s so usual for anyone, particularly a woman, to be standing alone on the street in our resort, just watching a building.”
The following day Madeleine was reported as missing and Jenny said she told the police about the woman. It’s now being reported that both British and Portuguese police are said to be considering “moving in” on this woman in connection to the disappearance of the little girl.
It’s getting increasingly difficult to see any outcome to this story at this stage as so many people have been suspects over the last decade.
