It’s official – Ireland has been embraced by a heatwave and it’s not going away any time soon!
For almost three weeks now, Ireland has seen some of the warmest and sunniest days we’ve had for literally years. The entire country has seen temperatures of over 20c at one point over the past month.
It’s looking increasingly likely the the heatwave will last even longer than that but June’s outlook looking like an absolute scorcher.
Today will see sunshine and hot temperatures of 24c, with tomorrow looking like 20c and the rest of the week forecast to be at least 17c. Tuesday and Wednesday will see a scattering of showers but the outlook is looking warm, bright and sunny.
Get the BBQ out, the sun cream, the sunglasses – you’re going to need them all!
