There was another tragedy on Irish roads this past weekend as a man aged in his 20s sadly died following a road accident in Co. Roscommon on Sunday.
It is understood the man died at the scene of the accident which occurred in Ballaghaderreen at approximately 8am on Sunday morning.
Gardaí say the single-vehicle collision happened on the R293 Ballaghaderreen to Gurteen Road when the man crashed his van into a tree.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been removed to Roscommon University Hospital.
