He got knocked, badly, at the very end of the first round and indeed into the second round, but Anthony Joshua managed to survive the scare and dispatch of Alexander Povetkin in the 7th round.
Wembley Stadium played host to the heavyweight boxing fight last night in front of a full house and millions around the world.
Povetkin’s build up to this fight had been relatively quiet, given the fact he hasn’t even two words of English, but he was dangerous because he brutally knocked out Britain’s David Price who is even taller than Anthony Joshua just a few months ago.
However Joshua did win and will next fight on April 13th against Wilder, Fury or Whyte.
