An “alt left” website with links to the extremist group that calls itself “Antifa” short for Anti-fascist Action has claimed that they will overthrow the “Trump/Pence” regime on November 4th, the first anniversary of Donald Trump’s Presidential election victory.
The group, which ironically uses violence and intimidation to silence those who think or speak contrary to their dogma, claims to be a bulwark against fascism and to be leading the cause of migrants, the LGBTQ community, and Muslims who it asserts are persecuted by U.S President Donald Trump.
“Antifa” which is actually a group of loosely affiliated pretend revolutionaries are not taken very seriously but they have engaged in serious violence in the United States and have an associated organization in Ireland, also known thuggery.
Though mostly made up of impressionable, young people from upper-middle class backgrounds these play acting working class heroes should not be taken lightly as they represent a serious threat to free speech and democracy.
