The latest indictment on an utterly failed Government reveals that the level of homelessness in Ireland has now reached 6,000 people. This represents a whooping 44% increase on the same time last year.
Overall, the level of homelessness has increased a spine-chilling 103% due to the Government’s tacit collusion with banks and vulture funds to operate in whichever way they see fit.
The new Government has now made more empty promises in the way of delivering 25,000 new homes every year by 2020, and a so-called “action plan” on housing which is supposed to be published within 100 days.
