Katie Taylor will most likely defend her world title in Dublin in April it has been revealed.
According to her promoter Eddie Hearn the Bray native wil take to the ring on April 14th with Dublin being the most likely destination for the event.
Although niether her opponent or venue has been confirmed it is expected Taylor will fight before the Dublin crowd in what could be a blockbuster month of boxing.
Hearn announced the news on Wednesday after he unveiled Britain’s Amir Khan as his latest recruit.
It is expected Taylor’s bout will be squeezed between Carl Frampton’s bout with Nonito Donaire and Anthony Joshua’s upcoming fight against Joseph Parker.
