Eir customers up and down the country are complaining that they still have no service today.
The Eir broadband service is down since Friday we reports claiming no service will be resumed until at least tomorrow afternoon.
Services keep coming and going Friday afternoon until a complete and utter breakdown at tea time Friday.
It is understood customers in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Waterford, Sligo, Limerick, Meath, Louth and Kerry have been affected by the outage which will not be repaired until October 3rd.
Speaking about the technical fault a Eir spokesperson said they are aware of the incident and technicians are working hard to address the issue.
“However given the nature of the fault it could be a number of days before normal service is restored to all our customers in the affected areas.”
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the fault.”
