It’s utterly despicable – yet another homeless Irish person has died on our streets.

The tragedy of homeless existence is once again laid bare again last night, as another homeless person has been found dead in the country.
As Direct Provision centres are popping up around the country for migrants, the body of the man in his late 40s was found at a Waterford housing estate earlier today.
The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Eamon McCarthy. Tragically, it’s understood that Mr. McCarthy had been homeless for some time, and that he was well known in the area.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
