An assassination attempted occurred in North Dublin yesterday as a gangster escaped thugs who banged into his car and opened fire.
The gangster was driving in the Islandbridge area in North Dublin when he was attacked.
He managed to escape from the car and run into a near by park where the assassins followed him and began shooting.
This is the fourth attempted assassination attack on the man.
Two men went to his home last week to kill him but he also managed to escape and ran to the local garda station.
Witnesses are being asked to come forward with any information on the attacks.
