The ASTI has heavily criticised the Department Education over their handling of pay talks labelling them as childish.
The comments come ahead of the latest round of talks which are due to take place later today.
The ASTI say the Department have shown know willingness in sorting out the issue and have said that all their requests have fallen on deaf ears so far.
The latest row comes ahead planned strike action over the next three months that will see teachers leaving their posts on a number of days in order to force through better pay and conditions.
