At least 60 people are confirmed dead after a train plowed through a crowd gathered to watch a firework display in India.
The incident happened on Friday in the northern region of Amritsar.
Dozens more are believed to be injured, many of them seriously. Local authorities say that people could not hear the approaching train due to the loud noise from the fireworks.
