Madeleine McCann went missing in Portugal May of 2007 aged three.
This week it was confirmed that a little girl’s body was found in a suitcase in Australia.
Today, Australian police have confirmed the body of a fair-haired girl aged between two and four, found earlier this month is not that of the missing British girl.
Madeleine was just three years of age when she went missing from the family’s holiday apartment
in Portugal’s Algarve on May 3 2007.
South Australia Police Detective Superintendent Des Bray said: “I can confirm that Madeleine McCann has been totally excluded as a potential victim and UK police have been advised.”
