Australian Senator Barry O’Sullivan has declared that he now self-identifies as female in order to
dissuade liberals from attacking him over his pro-life convictions.
Global News reports that the National Party senator announced his intention to identify as female in
the Australian parliament, hoping that by identifying as a women he will now be guarded against the
vociferous attacks of pro-abortion leftists.
Senator O’Sullivan made the decision to self-identify as female after two Green Party senators in the
Australian parliament condemned his motion to prohibit pro-abortion activists from disrupting the
Day of the Unborn Child.
The Day of the Unborn Child was established by Saint Pope John Paul II and takes place annually on
March 25 th to coincide with the Feast of the Annunciation.
Senator O’Sullivan is a staunch defender of the right to life of the unborn child. In response to his
motion, calling for the Day of the Unborn Child to be respected Green Party Senator Larissa Waters
declared O’ Sullivan “needs to get his hands and his rosaries off my ovaries.”
