Authorities across the globe have become increasingly concerned following the rise in deaths connected to the WhatsApp Momo suicide game.

The game which has been compared to the deadly blue whale game has put authorities in Central and South America on alert following deaths in recent weeks.

It is also feared that the game which encourages young children to put themselves in danger is becoming popular popular in other countries.

The sickening game which involves the use of violent images that dare vulnerable youngsters to carryout reckless challenges has been once again highlighted following the death of a 12 year old girl in Ingeniero Maschwitz, in Argentina.

According to reports in Bueno Aires, the innocent girl was allegedly targeted by an 18 year old male who encouraged her to take her own life.

The game which also involves threatening behaviour apparently forces young people to carryout life threatening tasks which are recorded and then uploaded on social media.

The game is also being investigated by authorities in Mexico who have seen an increase of cyber bullying amongst young children.

Parents are being urged to monitor their children’s activities and to monitor what they are uploading or watching on social media websites.
