A 59-yr-old was killed in a car crash this morning shortly before 9am on the road leading from Slane to Drogheda in Co. Louth.
It’s believed her single-occupied car was involved in a crash with a van that had two passengers, both of whom were taken to hospital but are said to be not too seriously injured.
The woman however sadly was pronounced dead at the scene with the road closed off and diversions still in place.
