A baby boy who was in horrific car crash has sadly died last night.
Little Patrick Maughan, who is less than a year old, received serious injuries when two cars collided in Finglas, Dublin on Saturday afternoon.
Little Patrick was taken to Temple Street Hospital, where he was clinging to life. But he sadly passed away on Sunday evening.
The crash is believed to have happened at the junction of of Hamptonwood Green and Hamptonwood Avenue at around 3.30pm.
Gardai had closed the road for a time to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision investigators.
