The classic Christmas hit “Baby Its Cold Outside” has reached the top 10 digital sales chart for the first time ever after PC fanatics tried to have it banned.
Sales of the Dean Martin classic song were up 70 percent to 11,000 downloads in the week ending December 13th while covers of the tune by Michael Bublé, Idina Menzel and others also jumped.
Feminist activists and other politically correct kill joys denounced the song and bullied several radio stations into banning it including Ireland’s own ‘Christmas FM’.
They claim that the song, in a which a man attempts to convince his girlfriend to stay with him, promotes rape culture and harassment.
The loud mouth PC brigade have now apparently shot themselves in the foot as the song has become more popular this Christmas than ever before.
