Back on the airwaves: Festive tunes set to return as Christmas FM confirms its launch date

If your a fan of Christmas music you may be happy to hear that one of the countries favourite radio stations has announced its launch date.

Yes! The much loved Christmas FM is returning to the airwaves this year to delight those who are in the festive spirit with all the classic tunes that will get everyone rocking around the Christmas tree.

The station which is on air every year will be back this November 28th at 1pm and will be on air until December 25th.

In announcement​ on their Facebook page the station also announced that it will be running its annual charity appeal to help those in need this Christmas.

This year the station have revealed they will be supporting the sightsavers charity which actively helps thousands of people worldwide by giving them the gift of sight through high risk sight saving procedures.

The station which has around 100 volunteers each year has already raised over €1 million for a number of important charities in recent years including Barnardos and Aware.

Although it is yet to be confirmed the station will broadcast on the following frequencies:
