There’s been backlash on social media after the Yes side in the abortion referendum re-released a vicious video showing one of their top street campaigners attacking the men of Ireland demanding they “know their place in this fucking racist country” and “to vote yes”.
The video was pushed on social media by the “Galway Alliance For Choice Yes group” who say this woman has demanded a yes from men. They responded to a question put to their Facebook page by The Liberal by claiming:
“The patriarchal society must die. This woman is a hero of the new Ireland that we and yes voters seek to create. She is correct in saying that Ireland is a racist country and women should have a right to decide if they want a Down Syndrome child or not”.
