A technical glitch today affected the Bank of Ireland network, with some customers left unable to access their details online, and also experiencing long delays in getting through the phone system.
When customers attempted to log in to their online banking, they were informed their PIN numbers were incorrect as a result of a technical glitch.
Many took to Twitter to vent their frustration.
Bank representatives said the technical team were working to resolve the issues, and apologised to all customers affected.
