Bank of Ireland issues an apology after customers experience problems using their debit cards




Bank of Ireland have issued an apology to their customers after a number of customers experienced problems with their debit cards.

It is understood the apology comes after a number of angry customers contacted the bank and took to social media to state that they had problems using their card at ATM machines.

A few customers have also voiced their concerns after they were unable to use their card whilst trying to complete online transactions.

Meanwhile Bank of Ireland have issued  a statement on Thursday to explain the problem.

In the statement, Bank of Ireland said they are aware of “intermittent issues” for some customers, and they are currently investigating the issue and will provide an update as soon as possible.
