Be careful out there – Motorists advised to be vigilant for the next 24 hours as the cold snap eases

Finally it appears like the cold snap is going to pass as from tomorrow onwards the weather will ease somewhat.
The AA and the Gardai have been advising motorists all weekend to be extra vigilant on the roads as temperatures fell to -4c across the country.
Today is no different – the next 24 hours will see the weather as bad as it has been since Friday but thankfully tomorrow the temperatures will start to rise slightly.

Met Eireann have said that the polar air will shift from tomorrow and more moderate and timely cold temperatures will return.
