Remember the beast from the east? Well who could forget it! Between people wrestling over Brennan’s Bread to many being stranded for days on end – Ireland in 2018 saw its worse snowfall for 3 decades.
But how is 2019 facing up? Well, according to a number of British weather forecasters, Ireland may be in line for late snowfalls towards the end of January.
The reports, coming from Wixcharts, say that snow may fall between January 22 and 24.
Recent changes in weather patterns indicate an increased likelihood of snowfalls later this month, though this is far from certain at this point.
Tell your friends to get the bread in next weekend – you might just need that extra loaf!
