Belgian government coalition collapses over UN migration pact

The Belgian government coalition has collapsed over a dispute regarding the UN Migration Compact Treaty.

The Migration Pact is part of the UN’s population replacement which aims to bring tens of millions of migrants from the Third World to developed countries over the next several years. It also seeks to encourage governments to use hate speech laws to clamp down on speech critical of open borders and mass migration.

While not legally binding, the ‘Global Compact on Safe and Orderly Migration’ lays the groundwork for legal implementation in the future, which is the ultimate goal.

However, numerous countries including the U.S, Russia, China, Australia, Italy and several other European countries have rejected the treaty as a threat to their sovereignty and because it fails to differentiate between migrants and refugees.

Now, Belgium’s government has fallen apart after the nationalist New Flemish Alliance (N-VA) party left their coalition with the Reformist Movement Party.

The country’s Prime Minister Charles Michel has ignored opposition from his coalition allies and the people of Belgium and gone to Marrakesh, Morocco to sign the agreement regardless.
