Ben Garrett’s family are desperately searching for the missing 21-yr-old. Over the weekend they were involved in various searches for the man, predominantly concentrating on the Oranmore area.

The family are said to be working with the gardai in an effort to organise as many search crews as possible.

21-yr-old army cadet Ben, who is originally from Breaffy in Co Mayo, hasn’t been seen since he disappeared after a night out on Thursday.

He was last seen at around 1.45am leaving a nightclub on Englington Street, Galway.

Ben’s sister Shannon has posted nonstop to her Facebook page appealing for help in locating her brother.

Ben is described as being 6ft in height, with short brown hair and an athletic build.

He was last seen wearing dark jeans and a light blue round-neck jumper.

Anyone who has seen Ben or who can assist in locating him is asked to contact Galway Garda station at 091 538000, the Garda Confidential Telephone line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
