There have been several reported sightings of a puma on the loose in the county Cork, the Irish Mirror has reported.
Locals in the Fountainstown and Crosshaven areas have made six credible reports of people seeing a big cat loose in the area.
In recent years hundreds of people have reported seeing wild big cats prowling the British country side in recent years, the UK Sun reported which could add credibility to the sightings in Cork.
There has also been a reported increase in the number of attacks on smaller livestock such as hens in the area in recent times.
