Beware: TV Licence inspectors increase their rounds by 25% with 8,000 house visits every week

People are advised to be aware that TV licence inspectors are increasing their rounds by 25%.

This will see around 8,000 houses being visited per week starting immediately. The TV licence helps subsidize the wages of RTE stars such as Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy and the newly appointed Six One News host Caitriona Perry.

If someone is caught not having a TV licence, they face a fine of up to €1,000.

If the same person is caught for a second time – the fine increases to a staggering €2,000.

People are advised to share this information with their friends to make them aware of the new TV licence inspectors doing the rounds.
