Big Freeze en route: Met Eireann say we’re just weeks away from stormy weather and heavy snowfalls

It could be bad, very bad, possibly even worse than last March and 2010’s very heavy snowfalls.

Met Eireann have confirmed that a serious cold snap is expected to hit Ireland over the coming weeks.

According to The Irish Mirror, the national forecaster has said a considerable change is expected in the coming months which could bring stormy weather and heavy snowfall.

Met Eireann’s Deirdre Lowe says the national weather forecaster doesn’t yet know when the cold snap and major weather change will occur, but that snowfall in the Northwest is likely.

The news comes less than a few days after renowned British forecaster James Madden issued a prediction in which he claims that the UK and Ireland could see its coldest winter in recent years.

Madden who has made numerous predictions over the years has claimed that a cold snap will develop this November and could possibily last until February 2019.

He also said sub zero temperatures along with heavy snowfall is expected with the worst of it possibly arriving in December.

It’s believed that ever changing weather patterns in the South Eastern Pacific could cause extreme weather in many parts of the world.
