Billionaire Financier George Soros, fresh from supporting a successful campaign to bring abortion on demand to Ireland, is throwing his full weight behind a campaign called “Best for Britain” aimed at overturning the Brexit referendum and keeping the UK within the EU.
Soros has said that the campaign will launch its manifesto on June 8 th .
The campaign, which aims to persuade British members of Parliament in the UK to disregard the 2016 referendum and push for a second vote, similar to Ireland’s Nice 2 and Lisbon 2 referenda, has already received 666,000 euro from Soros and is expect to receive millions more after this announcement.
Soros is a staunch advocator for greater supranational and global governance which, reflect his vision of a “New World Order”, and has said that Brexit is an “immensely damaging process” to the agenda of global elite and is absolutely determined to see it stopped.
He also warned, given the political crisis in Italy, the EU is in danger of failing completely.
